OK, so I live in SoCal...try not to hold it against me. Gov. Ahhnold signed a new law that means we can no longer be smog exempt when your vehicle is 25 yrs. old. It is now locked in at 1975 and older, I believe. Which means all the 76 and up truck/car owners have to have their vehicle smogged FOREVER in Kommiefornia.
Thinking I could, somehow, find a pre-75 Suburban, put the body on my 1 ton rig, and register it. Take the old body and serial no.'s and salvage it, non-op, etc. Then have any motor I want.
Anyone switched bodies? What am I looking at in terms of this project, time wise, if I have 2 or 3 friends help me?
