Question about 1 ton axle

Would a one ton axle from a 1987 diesel 3500 suburban fit on a 1979 blazer
Rear axle is 14 bolt semi float 8 lug.
Front is 10 bolt center with 8 lug manual locking hubs would I have to do any mods besides changing the u joint

There are no 1 ton Subs, only 1/2 and 3/4 ton.

The axle combo you described is from a light duty 3/4 ton. They will bolt in for the most part but you have to work with rear ujoint, rear ubolts, 8 lug wheels and possible driveshaft length mods for the rear.

Good axles but NOT 1 ton stuff.
