Question about a doubler?

First off I did a search on the Off-Road Design forum and couldn't find my answer. My question is my friend has a NP205 off of a 73' Ford F-100. The front output is on the wrong side to use on my chevy. Can I spin it around when adapting it to my NP203 when making a doubler so that the output is on the correct side?

No, everything like the shift rails and vent and full tubes would be on the bottom instead of the top.

If its divorced, you couldn't use it anyway.
