Question About Dana-60 Detroit Locker

With a Dana-60 (front diff) does the Detroit Locker come as a complete housing carrier and locker unit, or can I use the factory Open carrier housing like I would on a 14-Bolt rear diff?

Also, with the Atlas "Lunch box" Lock-Rite style locker, I am assuming that the factory open carrier housing can be used to run that type of locker?

Comes as a complete carrier assembly.

If you want to reuse your original carrier you could go with a lunchbox style locker.
