Hey guys I've got an 89 TBI and am having a hard start problem. Specifically once the truck has been driven and is already warm. It starts fine when it's cold but once it's warm and I try to start it agin it's a fight. It doesn't wanna start but it turns over fine. If it does start it runs like garbage for a few seconds then either dies or smoothes out if I give it some gas to fight through it. I've already replaced the Coolant temp sensor and cheked for a loss in fuel pressure. No pressure leaks and it has a new CTS. Any ideas???

Have you checked for trouble codes? If there are no codes besides the normal 12. And your truck is hard to start after it is warm, Your dist module or possibly the magnetic pick up coil may be going out.
