Question about header clearance

Those of you who wheel, do you run headers? I was thinking about putting some headers on my Blazer but I'm worried about smashing them on something when I go wheelin. Those of you who have headers on your truck, ever smashed them on something? Thanks, Kevin

I run headers but nope have never hit them on anything

The headers on my suburban do not extend below the frame at all. They are pretty well protected between the frame and oil pan. More likely to smash in the oil pan IMO.
