Are they supposed to look like this...? Well, I USED TO have a fairly decent 4 bolt main, balanced steel crank 350...:frown1: Crap.

Yeh those aint lookin too healthy lol. Quite a bit of scoring. If you plan on usin the crank again you'll need to get it ground no doubt.

Yipe!!

:yikes: :yikes: :yikes: :yikes: :yikes: < 1 YIPE! for every main bearing :eek1: :eek1: :eek1: :eek1: :eek1: :eek1: :eek1: :eek1: < 1 EEK! for every rod bearing

Looks like you ran it with no oil pan!--thats what happenned to the last set of bearings I saw like yours--a guy ripped the oil pan off on a speed bump, and kept on driving till the crank would turn no more....:frown1:

Do you plan on saving it,or is it a candidate for a coffee table???

ouch man. did that bearing spin?

yep thats gonna be turning the crank and resizing the rods, new bearings..
I just got done with that on my BBC.. gave me an excuse to make it faster though. :cool1:

Just 1 bearing F-ed up, the crank, and 1 rod. Yeah, just spun a bearing for some reason..? Who knows. I will probably have the crank turned and the rod fixed, throw a new set of bearings in the bottom and call it a day.

I think a little emory cloth and one higher weight of oil should get you back on the road.....

NOT!! Yikes, that is bad.
