Ok, I changed out the fluid in my front diff. It was low, so I assume it had been leaking, so I put the cover back on, rtv'd the seal and filled it up. It has a pretty bad leak, is there anything I can do?

I can get pics tomorrow, too dark tonight. But it seems to be leaking from one of the bolts.

put some thread tape on the bolt and goop a buch of silcone towards the head of the bolt before installing it. let the silicone dry before adding fluid.

Is it best to use RTV and the seal? Or do most just use RTV? I will get me some thread tape, thanks.
