OKie dokie, I got the new poly body mounts, and 1" pucks in on the front three on both sides. The rear two are giving me some trouble. I have been jacking the truck up on the rockers so far, but my rear two body mounts on each side are really giving me trouble. I cannot seem to lift the body high enough from the rocker's to get the old stuff out and the new stuff in. I honestly do not think this is the stock setup, one pic is of the top of the bolt from inside the truck, the other is from the bottom of the truck. I was wondering if you guys could help me out. Thanks a bunch in advance.

That looks like the stock setup to me, I can't tell in the pic's but all 4 of the bolts in the bed area were spot welded down on all the K5's I have had. Some better then others, but they were all welded to the bed. When I did my mounts and ORD BL, I was also re-installing the frame so my technique was a little different. I would try using 2 2x4's to span from one bed crossmember to the other and then a piece of 4x4 across the two and try to jack it up from under the center of the bed. Basicly making an "H" with the 2x4's being the vertical lines and the 4x4 being the horizontal line.
If that makes any sense :D

You need to remove ALL bolts on one side of the vehicle and loosen ALL bolts on the opposite side and then lift the side with the bolts removed and swap in the new hardware and only loosely attach the bolt then proceed to the other side and do the same. Once all hardware is swapped out THEN you may go about tightening ALL of the bolts.

Yeah I knew about that part... And that is how we did it. When you say remove all bolts, do you mean that I need to remove the ones that are welded in? If so, whats the best way of doing that?

You need to hit the welds with a grinder to break them loose. Those bolts have to change too. Then just jack it up.

The assist springs on the tailgate go from the gate to the frame and can prevent the rear from lifting. These just about kicked my butt the first time I did a K5 body lift, took me a little while to see what the problem was.

I forgot that, also I had to lengthen the clutch rod.
