Hi all, I noticed the bed section of the Suburban looks like it is just attached to the truck with bolts and a seam sealer/caulking. Is this true, or is it also welded to the truck somewhere? I'd really like to have a removable rear seat in my truck (that uses the latch system), but don't want to do all sorts of cutting. (not to mention I don't have the equipment to cut it out of a truck in a junk yard). Thoughts, ideas? Thanks

idk...never realy thought about it...

I'll dig into my 86 donor this weekend & see what's up...I imagine there's a good bit of spot welding in there

I tore one apart a few years ago for body parts and whatnot, I'm pretty sure they are spot welded together and also seam glue sealed.
