guys i have a set of 36x12.5x16" tsl swampers i wanna put on my truck, can i run 16x8" wheels. or is that gonna look funny? or should i go to the 16x10? seems i can find alot more in the 16x8 size. but not sure what it will look like? any body got pics or run this size?

I'd be willing to bet 16x8 would be too narrow for the tries to seat properly... afterall, its a 4.5 inch difference between the tire and the rim widths. 16x8 is only an inch wider than the stock rims which are 16x7, and that's deffinately too narrow for a 12 1/2 inch tire.

do a quick search in the Garage area for rims of that size, and I'll bet you almost anything you'll run across at least 20 discussions about this in the last month. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

i have 36x12.50s on 8" wide wheels, have for like 8ooomi and not one problem yet and they look fine. check out my webshots

8" wheels should work fine. I have 15x8s with no problems well, last time I looked at them

I have 33 by 12.50 on 16 by 8 rims and I think they look better then 10inch rims with 12.50inch wide tires because there is more sidewall sticking out from the rim. /forums/images/graemlins/burb.gif's rule /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
