question bout flywheels

so im going to do my swap from a 700r to a 465 my qusetion is will an i have to have a 89 spcific fly wheel or will one of my older ones work as the zone shows somthing differnt part numbers i guess did chevy change to a xternal balanced 350 i seached but mabe i missed a thread any info would be great

one piece rear main versus two piece rear main are different flanges.

I just bought a new flywheel less than a month ago for a one piece rear main (1987) and can find the part number I used if you like. At the end of the day, the least expensive one I found was through GMPartsdirecrt.com. If you need one of the older two piece rear main sized ones, I've got one in the garage.

Here is the thread with the part numbers in it. I am pretty sure I got the least expensive one I could find, and that it came from Partsdirect...or Summit, not Jegs that much is for sure.
