thanks ya'll!

Are you talking about the cloth inserts or the plastic door skin?

I have used a couple brands of "plastic dye" that work great for stuff you don't touch. Constant wear items like an armrest don't hold up for very long. For fabric, they make spray on dyes, as well. I wouldn't worry about it coming off on your clothes (once dry), but it might wear off over time.

I replaced the fabric in my inserts with headliner material at the same time I did my headliner. Stuff is cheap, available by the yard at local fabric stores and holds its color great.

Colorcoat to be specifac... Stuff rocks... beats the old days of buying qrts at the Bodyshop Supply...

I hear people are having good results with the Krylon Fusion, but haven't tried it...

ok..... i checked with the shops here in town and was told none in my area carries SEM. thats why i asked about Duplicolor. I can get that at the local auto parts store. unfortunately, i'm on a time crunch and don't have time to order it online. i need to have them done this weekend.
can you clearcoat over top of dye to keep it from bleeding?

Check on the Krylon Fusion, that seems very readily available and so far the reviews on it are good...

Fusion it is! thanks guys! just what i need to know! glad I didn't buy the Duplicolor yet.
