question for electrical guys

How would you run a master disconect? Also can you run a circuit breaker box in a truck, like a small home unit?

you can just run a master disconnect switch right in the pos bat cable... something like this...

here's my marine battery switch setup.... does the same thing....

glovebox breaker panel..... no fuse block....

anything is possible....

master disc at batt if its rated to the max amp draw with starter motor figured in if fine. http://www.nextag.com/battery-disconnect-switch/products-html lots of good ones here.

and house stuff wont work correctly its ac volts not dc volts.

thanks, what breakers is ryoken using? I like the little levers more than buttons

actually my main supplier has discontinued that style... they are bluesea systems marine breakers, manufactured by Airpax... I'm trying to locate more right now...

those are not exactly easy to find now.. but blueseas have these as a replacement... very similar, but more of a push button...

but i'll be running push buttons in my overhead console..

for larger amp loads, the ones sweetk30 mentioned are what i run for my main cab breakers... you can see one in the first pic next to the bat switch...

if you have an hr, or 5 , i detail more in my build thread, linked in my sig below... most of the electrical stuff is early in the thread.... like the first 4 or 5 pages...

I actually read your build thread I just forgot you used breakers thanks anyway also wiringproducts.com has the same breaker for half the price
and does any one know if I could even get breakers with the little levers like in a house I think those are cool but if not I'll go with the ones you guys showed me
