question for tach guru\'s

i have a tach that i want to mount in my truck, but i dont know what wires go where. The tach is a SW stage 1. i dont know if anybody has heard of it before. there are four wires coming out of the back, 1 red, 1 green, and 2 black. if anyone can held me or point me somewhere to where i can find out, i would be greatly apreciative. thanks alot. sam.

Red will be for your main power... (attach to a circuit hot with key on). The green will attach to the coil or tach terminal. One black will be a ground... I would guess the other one would be a illum wire which needs to be spliced in to the dash lights.

yep hes right, thats the same as my suntune, cept' one of your black ones is blue for me, just gotta find wich is ground and wich is backlight
