Installed my Rebuit TH350 approx. 2 monsth ago. Also installed new kickdown cable at this time. Upshifts seem to be great. When I floor the gas pedal at a low speed while in 3rd gear the tranny doesn't kickdown to 2nd Like it used too. Is an adjustment of the kickdown cable needed? or would this be something else? Any inof is appreciated.
Thanks
James

You should have an adjustment at a bracket by your throttle linkage it is a plastic clip that you pry up and then get someone to push the gas pedal to the floor (engine off) and hold it there and then push the clip back in then drive it and see what you think if it holds the down shift too long then you can go back and adjust it again
