Premium GMOTM Winner Joined Nov 1, 2004 Posts 43,004 Reaction score 25,453 Location in the back of your brain Sep 24, 2011 #2 problem is if top is dry and real bad shape from years of no coating or paint. fiberglass = huge sponge to paint. better plan on good primer sealer for fiberglass then watch it suck it in. then paint the top. but this is what i have seen in the past not first hand experence.
