Question on 203`s

After driveing in L or L loc I cant get it to shift back into H or Hloc right away.I have to drive around on pavement for a bit first? I aligned the rods like the book says too. So whats up?

Spray some lub into the shifter mechanism. They are notorious for binding when they dry out.

If that doesn't work, try backing up about 10 to 15 feet. TC's can sometimes bind in a gear, and reversing can help alleviate the pressure.

I remembering hearing that years ago when I was a kid....To bad I didnt remember it that day,we drove home in L for about 2 miles at 25mph :doh:
