Okay to some this may sound strange by I need to know what the width of the M1009 wheels are.

Here's why. I'm restoring my 1971 K5 and from the factory it came with 15X6 inch wheels with chrome hubcaps. I want to retain the hubcaps for the factory look but i've installed a 4 inch lift and I want to run some 33's. I've heard some people say that the military K5's had 8 inch wheels and from the pics i've seen they look like they will except the stock hubcaps can anyone varify this.

Also, do I need to be a member to post a WTB add and if so where do I pay?

The M1009 wheels are one of the stock wheels for 1984ish, basically the most boring possible, so yeah, the stock plastic prolly fits.

OTOH, you can get stock 15x8's from lots of years... more likely in the mid-70's that the plastic will interchange. My M1009 came with the 80's style 15x8's but I happened to have a set of 33"s on 70's ralleys (also 15x8) so I used those.

There's lots of photos as to what was available for any given year on my Brochures page linked below.
