yes i have a question that i just cant figure the answer ....... one is a 1993 3/4 ton two wheel drive chevy and the other is a 1994 one ton 2 wheel drive chevy .....which one is better and the main question is can i switch a 2 wheel drive nv4500 into a 4 wheel drive....another words can i turn the 2 wheel drive into a four wheel drive one ????????? thanks alot

I think he wants to know if the NV4500 can be changed from a 2 wheel to 4 wheel tranny.

I would think that it could be done. Just need the output shaft and the and rear housing from a 4 wheel unit. Prob. be cheaper to just find a 4 wheel tranny. Not unless the 2 whhel was free or dirt cheap. Thats just my $.02.
