Been doing body work on my tail gate.I had replaced some rust and wondering if the area under the window crank is flat or has a curve out some. never really noticed

Mine was rusted good so could not tell before it got done.

No one, I know this sounds stupid but I have a slight bow out and wondering if that is the way the panel is made.I did use a straight edge and looks like its uniform all the way across. I don't want to get into the shrinking process yet in tell I know for sure.I dont have access to a good tailgate to look at.

you should take a picture. Don't expect any quick responses, this is not a well-traveled subforum.

I believe that where the window crank is, is a raised panel of sorts

Yes and thank you !! I will have a lot of work to do on my tailgate,I have a area about a foot that is bowed out under the handle to shrink now
