I'm in the middle of changing my K5's 6.2 Diesel engine mount, and the FLAP sells Anchor for $10, made in Korea, and mail order is $20, but the same Anchor. Weird...

I also need a couple of tranny mounts, so I looked at the pix, and I think I know which I need. Is there a Made In America alternative? Maybe Polyurethane?

The K5 has the sheild, and the next set is the Sub

The K5 is also missing a bolt, I'll have to deal w that...

Here's autopartsgiant. They usually offer DELCO stuff, but thses are the same "Anchor" as the FLAP, but double the $$$.

I'm gonna' try LMC...

Here's my dog looking for better Radio Free Europe reception, and a little fawn just sitting on the edge of the woods for HOURS!!!

i would buy polly for both and be done with it.

go to autozone thay stock energy suspension on the shelf.

the motor mounts will go in to your old shells. and the tcase will be new clam shells and the metel plates.

If you go with clam shell inserts I'd recommend tack welding the shells together as well. Ditto on poly. My BBC would move standard rubber mounts all over and make it difficult to shift.

I got an Energy Suspension trans mount from AutoZone and Kert's engine mounts. All poly. :D
