Are theere any difference in between the frames on a blazer from 73-75,,comapared to the frames in the 76-91? Or is it all the same ?

Jake

The earlier frames are straighter between the front and rear axle humps, and the frame rails run parallel. The later frames have a dip to clear the rear seat footwell, and spread out in the middle.

I stuck a older tub on a newer frame . Front and rear monts line up . Middle are not the same . The sliders will tie in there in my case and hold the body on better :thumb:

The body mounts in the rear seat footwell area are inside the frame on '73 - '75 and outside on '76 and up.

The changeover year is actually '78 not '76. 73-77 are the same and '78 up are the same. I have an early tub on a late frame and it was no fun having to fab up that center body mount...plus i have a weird gap where the footwell used to be.
