I have read a little bit about putting the stock rear leafs (52's) out of a 1/2 ton truck into the front of SFA Chevys and I have some questions. Keep in mind that I have a 3/4 ton 1989 Suburban (currently 10 bolt, but if I can ever find a D60 that isn't in Zimbabwe or somewhere else requiring shipping, it will have one of those!):

1.) How much lift will it give? I was planning to use DIY4X's B-52 Setup to be able to tune it a bit, but I want to know basic ranges.

2.) How much will I have to mess with the perches for the axle?

3.) As it is a 1/2 ton leaf going into a 3/4 ton truck, will I have to worry about weight? I assume because it is a rear pack it will hold up just fine, I am just trying to work through options.

4.) Are there any advantages (other than length) to using a rear 52 as opposed to lift springs built for the front?

Thanks in advance!
