Questions on a TH350 to SM465 Swap

When you do this swap do you have to use a different crossmember or will the one that comes stock with a automatic work? Im in the mist of doing the swap I just want to see whats going to wrong before I do it. And where do you find a 456 bell housing, shifter and stock knob?
Tips or ideas would be appreciated.

the cross member is the same but you will need to move it forward a few inches as for the knobs and whatnot the best place will be a scrap yard

if you are swapping from a TH350-NP205 to a SM465-NP205 (10 spline not 32 spline!) or vice versa the crossmember will be the same and will be in the same spot. The dimensions should be the same and your driveshafts will bolt up at the same lengths.

I swap back and forth from a sm465 for crawling to a th350 for drag racing, and its pretty straight forward without having to change much at all.

the crossmember is the same with th350 np208 as well but as i said it needs to be moved forward

Negative ghostrider... well not yet anyways...
Should be good for somewhere in the 14's though based on hp and weight.

Mud and Sand drag racing.
Th350 with a 4,000 rpm stall converter... awsome for racing, not so awsome for rock crawling.
