I have a buddy selling his CUCV M1009
its a 85 I think.
If he doesn't sell it he is going to scrap it.
I am wondering what I can take from his truck to fit on mine( 79k10 long bed)
I was thinking about the front drive shaft, instruments cluster, bumpers, and front leafs. Ive been searching the interwebs today to see if these items would be a direct bolt it. Any help would be nice or of any one is intrested in his truck ask and I will tell as much as I can( I know it ran when parked but since then the battery's and radiator have been stolen. The rear end doesthe is blown thanks to the gov local and some branches fell on it cracking the windshield and roof. It is completely stock except for the front bumper)

Im no expert on this kind of thing. but off the top of my head i would say the bumpers will fit, leaf springs will fit (although they will be stiffer if they came out of a diesel), cluster should, and front driveshaft might need some modification. Assuming yours has a 203 and his a 208, i believe the bolt pattern is the same for the flange at the case, but if you still have half ton axles and his had 3/4 or 1 ton, you will need a conversion joint, not to mention depending on the trans in his vs yours you could need a different length.

Thanks I was wondering about the front drive shaft since we both have 10bolts but his is an automatic transmission and 208 transfer( i think)mine is sm465 manual and 205 transfer

Bumpers are different. 73-80 is one style, 81+ another. It can be done, and is easier to put the newer ones on the older trucks, but will require some scrap metal as spacers.

Clusters came in a TON of different styles over the years, and the CUCV's had the very basic one. Unless yours has exactly the same layout of gauges and idiot lights, I'd pass.

The M1009 Blazers are not true 3/4 tons. They still have the standard 10 bolt axles, usually with 3.08 gears. They do have an extra leaf in the spring, so at best they're a heavy half ton. The pickups are true 1-tons and have a 60 and 14 bolt. Most of the non-diesel specific parts will transfer over. As for the front driveshaft, take a measure and check.
