questions on shackle flip/lift

I am wanting to run 33" tires...and eventually maybe 35"'s at a later time...I was looking at the rear shackle flip, and read that this adds 4" to the rear...does it? and, is this complemented by add-a-leafs in the front or what? I am not looking for much of an increase in height here, but want advise on what will be the best solution...any suggestions?

Offroad Design has a 4" and a 2.5" shackle flip kit. This kit needs new leafs in the front but you can keep your old rears. If you go 2.5" on the shackle flip you can add some 2.5" springs later to get on up and clear 35's
