Questions on shipping a K5???????

I had a K5 and a Suburban shipped from Colorado Springs to Austin in June for $1,100. Each has a 4 inch lift and 35's. Transport was arranged through these guys:

The driver used a 3-car, 5th wheel flatbed, towed behind a seriously warmed up Dodge 3500 pickup.

I used www.transportexecutives.com . They towed my K5 from Fremont,CA. to Battle Ground,WA. It cost about $550,and only took one working day to get up there. There are some pics in the link below..

They also towed my VW Bus in a inclosed trailer but the price was doubled.

Hi, I used Luxury Vehicle Transport, Inc. 800 859 6520 ask for robin to transport two k5 within the last three months. They were fast and dependable. The first move cost me 400. but that was only 150 miles, they did deliver within 48 hours of me calling them. The second move was longer and the vehicle was lifted and the pick up was difficult . That one cost me 1000. Give them a try they'll get you a quote to transport your truck.

I had an MC shop down in Southern NM give me a shipping quote for a bike today. You want me to call back down and there and find out what company they got the quote from? It was real cheap, only $1400 for 600 miles for a bike that weighs just under 300lbs........................

Just moved my K5 from Minneapolis to northwest Arkansas for $1,030 by very competent drivers from americanautotransport.com. I'll plug 'em. 48 hour pickup window, a solid flatbed pulled by a nice duallie (I felt more comfortable than some rickety old 10-car), and the guy met me in a weird spot cause I live in a dead end. Good stuff.
