Quick axle question

What would an '89 2500 4x4 have underneath, up front and out back? There's one on craigslist near me for $350 and I'm thinking it'd be a hell of a buy.

IFS front and either 14bsf or ff rear. Depends on light duty or heavy duty.

Damn, well even if they switched to IFS, I'd still have the rear and the TH400 and whatever transfer case is in the truck right now. Says it's heavy duty, so there's my 14bFF.

Hmmm...knowing my luck, he'll have sold it already, though.

Probably a drivers drop 241 behind a TH400.
