On my 14bff I am replacing the hub bearings and have all of them out except the outer bearings. I have removed the bearing retainer ring but which way does the outer bearing come out? Out through the of the rear, right? Do I need to just beat it harder:D or what?

Is there a link someone can post with a new bearing install. I haven't searched yet because I wasn't planning on asking this last question but thought I'd do so anyway. Thanks in advance.

Using a punch, drive the race out (the bearing will follow) through the inner / rear opening.

I don't know of any quick links but when you reinstall be sure to push the race back against the snap ring to take up all the slack. If you don't do this pressure from the lock nuts will push the bearing & race inward creating slack in the final assembly.

So which ones are the races. I know. That sounds stupid but I'm not sure. Are they the things that the bearings ride on? Is there a race for the inner and outer?

The race is the roughly 1/2" thick cone shaped cup the bearing sits in. Both the inner and outer bearings have them but only the outer needs to be removed to get to the bearing.
