quick bender question

im going to order my bender monday or tuesday /forums/images/graemlins/woot.gif /forums/images/graemlins/woot.gif /forums/images/graemlins/woot.gif and was wondering if the degree ring is really nesecary. is it worth the $118 and 13.63 shipping /forums/images/graemlins/yikes.gif

im getting the pro-tools 105 from mike green /forums/images/graemlins/peace.gif

i can always order it later for the same price

I guess it depends on how accurate you want to get and how repeatable you want your bends to be. If your gona bend 3,4 or more of the same peice I'd say its a must. If you are going to do all "one offs" I'm sure you could fab up some kind of pointer and magnetic base to let you know where to stop.
