Quick car stereo answer needed!

I am wiring my Kenwood CD player into the truck... I have a orange wire with a white stripe, and a yellow wire that I am not remembering where they hook up. I have the red to ACC, and the black to ground, but have no power to the player at all yet.
I know one has to go to BATT for the clock/ memory, but...

Anyone help me?

Yellow is to the BATT for clock/mem....orange w/white stripe is remote switch for amp iirc.

Well, I also have a blue with white stripe that I thought hooks into the amp to turn it on.... dangit... I cant find any wiring diagrams online either...


They cant all go to power can they?

your right on the blue with the white stripe to remote amp.....what is the stereo brand and model?

the orange w/ white is for ilumination to dim the lights on the headunit with interior lights

Its a Kenwood CD player... prolly about 5 or 6 yrs old. Cant remember the model... KEH6969 or sumthin

Hey! Just found a site...

Heres the breakdown for those interested:

WHITE: Left Front Speaker Positive

WHITE/BLACK: Left Front Speaker Negative

GREEN: Left Rear Speaker Positive

GREEN/BLACK: Left Rear Speaker Negative

GREY: Right Front Speaker Positive

GREY/BLACK: Right Front Speaker Negative

VIOLET: Right Rear Speaker Positive

VIOLET/BLACK: Right Rear Speaker Negative

YELLOW: To Terminal Always Supplied with Power

RED: To Terminal Controlled by Ignition Switch

BLACK: Chassis Ground

BLUE/WHITE: To system Control of Power Amp or Power Antenna
ORANGE: (NOT ON ALL MODELS) DIAL DIMMER
