quick d60 carrier question

I need to replace the axle seals on my front dana 60, its ok to pull the carrier out, right? I just make sure to put the bolts and bearing caps in the same spot, right? Also what do I torque the bearing caps back to? Thanks

yes it is ok to just pull the carrier just make sure you keep every thing in the correct order, and after your done it would be a good idea to run the pattern just to be sure everything is ok

The torque on the carrier cap bolts is 80lbs.
Backlash is .005"-.009"
