should I get a 4L80E for $200? I just rebuilt my th400 and dont wanna do the swap, but this price makes me want to jump on it....

need a tranny controler and new driveshafts maybe an output shaft and adapter.

probably not as cheap as you think.

k, didn't know the dimensions in relation to my 400... I know the cooler thing, but the shafts is what I was thinking about.

yeah, but I just though a 200$ OD was worth it, but i didn't know all the other costs, I was blinded by the thought of OD

you don't need the trans controal unit if you don't mind a full manual valve body. the is a full manual valve body for the 4l80-e. for $200 i would buy it even if jsut to resell it later for a profit

I would keep the 400, buy the 4l80e and sell it for more than $200 if its a runner.

yeah, I was thinkin' 4l80e too, but those things cost way too much to install... Far rather put an NV4500, NV5600, T6 or something similar in now. More reliable, and, at least in my opinion, more fun
