Are the front of the frames the same for a 72 blazer 4wd and 87 truck 2wd? I mean besides the obvious differences of the 4wd havinghangers and the 2wd coil buckets.

They are very similar. I think there is a 1" overall width difference (1/2" per side).
I am currently converting a 1966 GMC 2wd pickup over to a '85 K20 front suspension. I just had to fab up a couple front spring mounts and then I will need to mount the rear pivots mounts off of the donor truck.
