if i am correct
41/10 are 4.10s correct? then 45/11 would be 4.09s right? is it ok to run 4.10 gears in the rear and 4.09 gears in the front?

Your math is correct sir, though i myself have never heard of 4.09's.
Such small difference wouldn't seem to do any harm. Essentially the one diff would turn a hundredth slower. What diff did you run into the 4.09 set? for my own curiosity

dana 44 had tons of 4.09 gears.

you are fine. with 4.10 and 4.09.

just dont want like 3.42 and 4.10 or anything major like that.

i think its like 10% diffrence is fine.

o.k. its like 1% diffrence then i guess my bad. its late and not paid to think.:doah:

I'd say 1%...not 10%. :doah:

10% is like 3.08's and 3.42's.

i found the 4.09 in my 3/4 ton d44. I had never seen one before either thats why i had to ask. Thanks guys!

sweet! im just glad i can use it. when i opened up the diff today to check the gears i found that some asshat had welded it up, but did such a bad job the welds are broken clean off. o well it was only $80.00 so i will take it apart, clean it, reweld it and wheel it until it breaks, then maybe a d60.
