What's the best place on the truck to ground a CB radio? I want to ground it where it will get the least interference from the motor/power windows, etc...

Right now where it's grounded, it has static when i roll the windows up and down, or when I get on the gas pretty hard.

I had a whine on my, grounded straight to the batt and the noises went away. I threw a fuse on the ground, incase something happened, so the truck wouldnt try to ground through the radio.

Direct to the battery is allways the best. I wrap mine in the shield from a piece of braded shield from a coax under the hood and run it in wire loom to keep the noise down.
