im trying to order shocks for my truck, i do not have the quad shock option, and want these shocks, but i can't find diff. part numbers for front/rear???? summit says this is both? is that right?

thanks

under application read waht it says, front and rear, but the front forward position shocks. is that what shocks i have, or do i have rear shocks. i'd go look at my truck, but my dad is using it. damn it.

That's not right. FOr a bone stock truck, the front shocks are much shorter than the rear.

Go look up shocks direclty on Pro-Comp's website, Summit is not the best at fitting things to vehicles.

Thier catalog says you need 919502 for front and 922500 for 73-87 K10 trucks. (Stock height)

the shocks you linked are for a 8.5"-10" lifted chevy in either the rear or the inside front on a dual setup. they will be too long for a single shock setup in the front. do you even have over 8" of lift?

no...but i will have nine inches after this weekend. nine of suspension that is. im runnin muddybuddys old 8in BDS with a 1in. zero rate up front, then shackle flip and 3in blocks out back. i like the look with the front end up.

i actually ordered 4 85150 superlift super ride shocks. they say they fit 73-87 k10 trucks with 10in lift in the front and 8 in lift in the rear, which is what i want. i got them off ebay scratch and dent/ with hardware/bushing they were 54bucks for all 4 shipped. can't go wrong IMO.
