Quick help needed(hydro cap install hangup)

So I'm removing the cap on the front of the steering box...I plug the ports and turn the input shaft left in order to push the cap out. Well I turned it a bit too far and now I can't get the input to turn back right again. I would prefer not to force it, but that might be what needs to happen.

Help!

I've got some bad news for you man, even if you do force the piston back in it will still not fix your problem. I have just tore up 3 boxs before i realized what I was doing wrong. When you use the piston to push the cap off you are over extending it and the ball bearing inside fall out of their spiral groove and can not get back in. So what you need to do is completely disassemble the box and put the balls back in place. Do a google seach on how to do it.
