OK, I'm switching from my Interco TSL 16x38.5x16.5's to some Pitbull Rockers 39.5x16.5x16.5's
Here's the spec.s-
Interco TSL -16/38.5-16.5LT SAM37 89lbs. Tread Ply-6 Side Ply-4 Tread-25/32 tread width-13.0 OD-38.2 CS-15.40 Revs/ Mile-489 Rim-16.5x9.75 Max PSI-30 Load-2410

Pitbull Bias Rockers 39.5x16.50-16.5LT load-4430 @ 45 PSI :eek1:- Dia. 39.50 - tread width 12.80 rim 9.75 tread 22/32
.
From what I understand, I will be going from 38.2 OD to 39.5 OD
The tread width will be going from 13 to 12.8
But what I'm wondering is Interco says CS-15.4 (Center Section?)
And Pitbull says S.W 17.4 (Section width?)
Wouldn't that be the widest center section of the tire?

Here's the spec. sheet for Interco- http://www.intercotire.com/tires.php?id=10&g=1 (see SAM-37)

I ordered the tires this morning but now I'm a little worried about the fit.
A LITTLE HELP? :1zhelp:

CS = Cross Section (tire measured at its widest part on the specified rim width).
SW = Section Width (tire measured at its widest part on the specified rim width).

Basically from the dimensions you are going to gain 2" of tire bulge. This could become a problem depending on the offset of your wheels.

Those are mounted on a GM Dana 60 with I believe some sort of GM springs as well so should be a similar setup. He never mentioned any clearance issues.

Found one more pic. Not sure of the wheel width on these.

My LTB's are pretty wide on 10" wide wheels with 3.5 bs and I don't have any issues with my springs at full lock either way.

Mine aren't quite as wide bit still 15.40

Well, I searched the truck will look like XXXX thread and didn't see any K5's with the
39.5 Rockers. Let me know if any of you are running them.
I have 4" TC Easy ride, 3" Body Lift and the 38.5's have worked fine so I'm thinking
I can fit them.

Worst case is some sheet metal :hack::grind::weld:

There's a Sub with Pitbulls in this thread...
I'm not sure a pic of Brandon's truck would help, being that it's dovetailed and the fenders are a shadow of their former selves...

Thanks Josh!
I did see that post before I ordered them and that helped make up my mind
I don't know if he changed his truck but his spec.s say he has 6" of lift
and I have 7" so I think I'll be just fine and with some awesome new boots :woot:
I still have a call into Jason at www.4x4groupbuy.com to talk to him about them.
My TSL's have been done for a couple years and you can ask the guys at Blazer Bash,
I've been smoking them up so I can tell the wife I need new ones :D
Can't wait to get them on and I'll do a post on them and the Blazer Bash trip.

on my truck :saweet:

ahh im glad you found my review useful! Yeah my truck has roughly 6" of lift, old superlifts front w/ a overload added in, and stock springs rear, zero rate, and shackle flip w/ i believe 7" shackle. I love these tires so far, they stick sooo damn well. I still haven't played in the mud with them, dont like it to much, but on the rocks out on the east coast they work awesome. I am sure in CO and moab they will be crazy sticky.
