What is the difference between the quick lock and lock rite lockers? are they the same. parts dudes are telling me they are. HELP.

This is going into a 10b.

Search , you will see that the Quic Loc ( actually is Detroit EZ Locker reboxed ) is inherently EVIL . And the Lockright is the longer lasting less troublesome of the two .

Trust me I daily drove and wheeled on both .

Same design but everybody seems to have much better luck with the lock right, I have a lock right up front and it works great, I have been running it for about a year and works great all the time, would be nice to have a selectable sometimes though but it isnt worth the extra expense for me right now imo, unlock a hub if its that bad.

The rear I am not woried about. It is a detroit in a 14ff. I allready ordered the quick lock and it is going to be here at lunch. comes with a lifetime waranty so it is ok. I have heard horror stories on the net about both the lock rite and quick lock only lasting 6 months or so.

We will see.

Make sure you read the fine print in that lifetime waranty. They may only cover it if you stay under a certain size tire.
I know lockrites are only covered up to a 33" tire in 10 bolts.
IIRC EZ locks same as Quick loc. Are only covered up tp 32" for 10 bolts.

I wish they made Aussie lockers for 10 bolts. They dont have a tire size limit on their waranty. From the ones I have seen they are a beefier unit and work better than. Lockrite and EZ lok.

If the Quick Lock is a Detroit EZ send it back and get the LR. The EZ is a piece of crap- good luck with that warranty.
