I'm reinstalling carb on the bronco today and these are the bolts that came out of the manifold. My ocd won't let me put these back in so I was just gonna go to lowes and get 4 regular steel 5/16 -18 bolts to go back in. Is there anything special about these bolts or am I missing anything? I don't really want to order bolts

Usually they’re plated or anodized. Personally, I’d wire wheel them

Asking and answering Bronco question? Really? :shame:

J/K :rotfl:
And don’t forget the plated washers too.

Post pics please if it’s the full size kind. I think we all love old iron no matter the make. :deal:

Is there a spacer or anything? Those bolts seem twice as long as they need to be.

Haha, i would have been disappointed if nobody gave me crap about a ford. Sorry, its a 73.

I'll just head to the ace, I like that place better anyway, thanks
Ace always has better fastener selection and availability than Lowe's or Home Depot in my experience.

And usually there's helpful hardware folks who can take you right to the nut or bolt you need without wandering the aisles.

And usually you can buy eaches instead of little plastic baggies with a set quantity that you may or may not need.

Yeah I like them, theyre my stihl dealer to so I'm in there alot

I don't know much about egr plates but that doesn't look like a ton of build up to me. I've seen a lot worse in the crossover ports of an intake.

Driving the Bronco tomorrow?

Sorry, egr plate. And barring anymore issues, yes
