Quick Parts Question?!?!

Does anyone know the starter bolt sizes for a 1982 (gen1) Chevy 350? Gotta pick one up today at lunch.

I think its a 3/8" - 16 and around 4" long but not positive. Anyone know for sure

There were probably at least two different lengths. Engine didn't matter, it was the starter that determined it.

Went through this not so long ago with mine. If you need to get some on the way home, if you can get the two common sizes, or the parts store gives you some choices, buy both then return what you don't need. They are pricey. The difference in length on the ones I had and the ones I needed (after exchanging starters) was only about 1/2", small enough difference that it wasn't obvious just looking at the starter.
