Quick powerstroke question....

Any of you guys that have a lifted powerstroke explain to me why a lift for a early 99 wouldn't work on the late model 99? My room mate has a late model powerjunk and found a 6 inch lift for a early 99 for like 2 bucks complete and was trying to figure out why it wouldn't work on his...and I don't know **** about a ford. Thanks

there are some bracket differences. I think mainly with the panhard. I don't know for certain just that they ARE different.
