i have a tbi unit in need of the pcv passage to be cleaned , and the unit could use a good cleaning , . the pcv passage is blocked with crud , can you just dig that stuff out and is the passage straight tru ?
i have seen the bottom and it looks to pull vac thru next to the butterflies . am i right .. and is this a real basterd to do ? so really two questions .
thanks for any help .

I just took mine off and rebuilt it and cleaned it to perfection, took everything off, got some carb dip, some carb cleaner, some small wire brushes and scrubbed till it looked brand new, then got the kit (like $15 bucks) and replaced all the gaskets, doesn't take much to get it off and on.

passages

were any of your passages clogged up ? and were they straight thru ?

Well if you just try to dig it out, you're gonna end up knocking it down into the intake, and yeah almost all the passages were clogged, all black carbon.

.....

no , i am going to take it off , i have aready done the regulator , which helped a bit , but i find the blockage by accident , i just want to make sure before i start digging the clog out there is no suprises .

It's hard to explain without pics... but you should be able to tell where they all go when you take it off, just remember it's aluminum... and you should be fine.
