quick question about the \"doubler kit\"

What about the 203 problem of "popping out of 4 lo" is that still an issue with the kit?

Can anyone elaborate on this? Is this a wear issue or a design issue or what? Haven't heard anyting about this.

If any transfer case pops out of gear it's due to internal damage or lack of lubricant and it needs to be repaired.

I have one and What are you talking about???? The only time it comes out is when I take it out myself. I have used it quite a bit and must say it was worht all those pennys. If you want to check mine out it is a Gen 11. I don,t think we live far from each other if you want to stop by. I also have a very built 700r and love them both.

Well i.ve had 2 chevys with a 203 and my step dad currently has a 203 in his truck and they all have popped out of 4lo whenever a heavy load is on them, i finally adjusted my linkage and it stays in now. Mabey it's a part time kit thing.?.

The shift linkage on the 203 becomes very simple with the Doubler, basically no way for it to bind up, and the only way for it to slip out of gear would be for it to hit the floor or something like that. The whole system is pretty reliable and easy to use.

Making the world better, one truck at a time.
