Fact- have an 84'K5

Question- Is a pickup tailgate a direct replacement (no mods) for my K5 tailgate.

Point- Want to loose the weight of the window and guts.

FYI- Top is being tossed too.

yes, you need to truck hardware that will bolt in the factory holes on the tub.

remember that hinges changed in 81 though

and in some cases there was a second different design from 77-80,
