Quick question on 08-13 body style truck wiring

Thought perhaps someone had done this here. So I go the new 08 2500hd as my work truck now. It came with base mirrors and Id really like to pick up some tow mirrors with the blind spot glass. The truck does have power mirrors and everything Im finding for tow power mirrors also has a blinker in it.

Does anyone know if all power mirror trucks from this generation happen to have the blinker connection in the pigtail?

I ask because my truck did NOT have blinkers in the mirror stock and I do not want to be adding wires to get it to work or having blinkers in the mirrors that dont work.

Newer trucks tend to have this stuff coded into some sort of body control module. I don't know for sure, but doubt it is plug and play. Search Amazon or eBay for a non blinker set.

I'd bet the plug at the mirror is wired for a blinker. Like said above, newer stuff is usually wired for all the options.

From what I read if you have power mirrors you have the correct door control module for blinkers but if you want to add heat it requires a retune.

I know on my 03 i only had power mirrors, i bought power fold, heated, turn signal, lighted mirrors. To put those in and for them to work i had to buy a special door switch that replaced the stock one. Then all the plugs plugged into the bottom of it, they now work flawlessly. Most of the newer stuff is set up for the fancy options and alot have it in the body control module. All of those options are really nice to have.

The quick answer is probably not.
I have both an 2007.5 2500HD SLT & a 2010 1500 SLE2
I did the tow mirrors on my 2500 HD SLT, had to get a new drivers side switch panel & also have the pass door switch reprogrammed.
Note the 2500HD came with power fold, heat & blinker in it.
Still to this day have small glitch with the 2500 mirrors when using the 2nd remote door key fob.

The 1500 also did the mirrors & it was plug & play.

Replaced the radio in the 1500 & had to replace a cab harness (behind dash & headliner). All factory radios have to be programmed.

There is no fast yes/no answer, too many variables. Easiest way to find out is yank the door panels & look.

Both trucks were done with factory gm parts (not aftermarket).
