I recently got zero rates and they have the option to move the axel forward, what pro's and cons is there to moving the axel forward? Also where the heck do I get new centering pins /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Also doesn't this change steering characteristics???

Re: quick question on zero ratw and offsets

Moving the axle forward keeps the tires off the fire-wall. You can get new centering pins at Napa.

Dont quote me on this but it shouldnt change your steering. Maby with x-over because the drag link is beign moved forward. I really dont think that 1.5 inches will hurt anything. I have a set waiting for me to be installed.

Moving the axle forward actually makes steering worse since the drag link will get another 1.5" shorter.

How? Are you going to shorten the pitman arm, or the steering arm? And if you go crossover, the zero rates will hit the draglink so you will have to make a spacer.
