If the distributor was replaced with a remanufactured one from autozone, does that mean that the ignition module was replaced too since its in the distributor?
 
Probably..but..

Its most likely the cheapest china made module money can buy in it ,IF they replaced it at all!--I've seen some "rebuilts" that still had the AC/Delco GM module that came in it!(not that thats a bad thing--factory modules are much better quality than most sftermarket ones)..some of the cheap ones lack the "dwell advance" curcuit,and it takes a toll on performance and mileage..if the runs as good as it did before you swapped in the rebuilt,I'd just run it--and replace the module if/when it fails with a GM one.. :crazy:
